Wherever possible, we act sustainably and protect nature. Our berry cultivation is completely organic, and the landscape and our forest are managed sustainably.
The 2-legged ones
Carmen Kern and Stefan Spichiger are the founders and owners of SpiKer Lodge. Both are big sled dog fans. Since their first trip to Drevdagen nine years ago, they have been fascinated by this region. After founding and successfully selling their company in Switzerland, they decided to move to Drevdagen in 2025. There they founded SpiKer Lodge and started a new adventure. Together with their husky team, the seven dogs, they found their new home here. They cordially invite you to relax with them and enjoy the unspoiled nature of Sweden.
The 4-legged ones, the "Husky Team SpiKer"
Our passion for Siberian Huskies began in 2013 with the arrival of Dakota, our first Nordic dog. Dakota came from an animal shelter and was an incredibly wonderful dog. He now graces the logo of SpiKer Lodge. Just six months later, Taipa, an 11-year-old Alaskan Husky lady, also from the shelter, joined us. Nine years ago, the story of the Husky Team SpiKer began with the arrival of Jady. Since dog sledding with just one dog is only half as much fun, and Dakota and Taipa were already too old, Kona joined us soon after. After that, the Husky fever never left us, and now the team consists of 7 dogs. Since coffee is a lifeline for us, all our dogs bear names of coffee varieties or brands.

Company
SpiKer Lodge was founded in 2025 and focuses on tourism in and around Drevdagen. Their goal is to include local suppliers and use Swedish products whenever possible. Sustainability and resource conservation are close to their hearts.
Carmen and Stefan have already successfully founded a company and moved from Switzerland to Sweden in 2025 to take on a new challenge. The name SpiKer is made up of the surnames of the founders, Spichiger and Kern.
